Empowering Our Community

At County Line First Baptist Church, our mission embodies the spirit of our founding in 1863—a deep commitment to worship Jesus Christ and uplift the community. Through our vision, "Restoring the Temple, renewing the community - one soul at a time," we strive to enhance spiritual growth grounded in faith, praise, and dedicated service. We actively engage in outreach programs, helping those in need within Denton County while fostering an environment where individuals can connect, grow, and flourish on their spiritual journey. Together, we make a meaningful impact, advancing the message of hope and love to all. Join us as we work hand-in-hand to build a vibrant, faith-centered community.

What We Believe

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God and the guide for our faith and practice. We believe in one God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We observe baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as ordinances given to the church. We believe the church is called to worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and service.

Church Leadership

County Line First Baptist Church is led under the spiritual guidance of the Pastor, supported by Deacons, Deaconess, and elected officers of the church. Leaders serve to equip the saints for ministry, maintain sound doctrine, and promote unity within the body of Christ. Members are encouraged to respect, pray for, and partner with leadership as we follow Christ together.

Christian Stewardship

We teach that everything we have belongs to God and that we are called to be faithful stewards of our time, talents, and treasure. Members are encouraged to honor God through regular tithes and offerings, generous service, and wise use of spiritual gifts for the building up of the church.
